Junior Associate, Dispute Resolution

We are looking for a motivated early‑career lawyer who is eager to grow within a dynamic and rapidly evolving legal and business environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about developing their expertise and contributing to dispute‑resolution matters across a wide range of industries.

As a Junior Associate in our Dispute Resolution team, you will support senior lawyers and partners in advising leading local and international clients on high-stakes commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, white-collar crimes, regulatory investigations, and cross-border litigation and arbitration. You will gain hands-on experience in multi-jurisdictional matters, case preparation, and advocacy across various forums, while contributing to the firm’s high standards of legal excellence and client service under close mentorship and supervision.

Responsibilities include

  • Supporting senior associates and partners in advising clients on commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, white-collar crimes, criminal law related disputes, regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions;
  • Drafting and reviewing petitions, pleadings, legal submissions, and procedural documents for court and arbitration proceedings;
  • Assisting with case strategy, evidence gathering, and document management across litigation and arbitration matters;
  • Supporting cross-border disputes and coordinating with local and international counsel;
  • Representing clients in hearings, negotiations, and settlement discussions under the supervision of the partner;
  • Conducting legal research and monitoring local and international case law and regulatory developments relevant to dispute resolution;
  • Supporting client communication and reporting on case progress and key procedural milestones;
  • Drafting and reviewing agreements; supporting internal teams as needed, including M&A due diligence.

Key skills and experience required

  • Law degree from a recognised university;
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in dispute resolution (both commercial and criminal law), arbitration, or a related legal practice (law firm or in-house experience preferred);
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-border and multi-jurisdictional environment;
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills;
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding practice;
  • Demonstrated interest in developments in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory practice;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Professional curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning and development.
